Eddie Stern: day two.

Eddie’s hands are magical….he’s not just an Ashtanga teacher…he’s a healer….either that or his knowledge of the human body is impeccable…it’s like he’s got x-ray vision or something…i was truly touched today and it was a great experience. You always wonder if workshop are worth the money, and you know what? Every single time i attend an Ashtanga workshop, i am never left feeling like it was a big waste of my time and money (this has happened with other workshops)…it’s only day two and i feel like a whirlwind of knowledge and info has been transmitted to me. wow.

Eddie Stern.

Just so you know – Eddie’s here so i’m busy teaching and attending the workshop! You know the schedule! I posted it a few weeks ago….i got up at 5am today in order to be at the Yoga Shala by 6am and start around 6.15am…

Unfortunately, during a mysore class you don’t really have a chance to talk or get to know the teacher, there’ll be plenty of time for that Thurs eve and Fri eve and over the entire weekend….what i can tell you is that Eddie’s adjustments are so subtle – firm but soft…it’s incredible…he knows exactly where to touch and hold and press, and goes just there, using what seems minimal effort…his adjustment today in Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana was just that….so soft and graceful but firm and did exactly what it needed. I liked that a lot.

There was a photographer taking lots of pix – so I’m sure i’ll be able to find them at some point somewhere, so i’ll have a few to share with you. But for now i gotta say good night! Getting up at 5.30am to teach, and then practice with Eddie at 9am!
