Venerdi’ 10 Maggio | ore 19.30-21 | 40eur
Functional vinyasa master Class: sfida il tuo corpo e la tua mente attraverso 90 minuti di movimento fluido, guidati da Sarah “Shakti Bird” Bonsall. Shakti è rinomata per l’intensita e la varietà delle sue pratiche. Gli studenti esploreranno transizioni stimolanti, una sequenza di movimento funzionale completo, sotto la supervisione e l’assistenza di Daniel Rama per tutta la sessione.
* Questa master class è aperta e accessibile a tutti i livelli.

Sabato 11 Maggio | ore 10-12.30 | 65eur
Becoming Balance: inversioni livello 1 ed equilibrio sulle braccia: Concentrandosi sui componenti fondamentali attraverso una gamma di inversioni e asana di equilibrio sulle mani, Becoming Balance è una sequenza progettata per aiutare a migliorare la propria tecnica così da poter accedere a livelli più profondi di fisicità. Gli studenti esploreranno un mix di asana ed esercizi tra cui mayurasana, bakasana (corvo) e varianti , sarvangasana ( verticale sulla testa), verticale e oltre.

Intelligent Spine: Backbending Workshop: la pratica dello yoga ruota principalmente attorno alla funzionalità della colonna vertebrale umana ed al suo potenziamento. I piegamenti all’indietro, se eseguiti in modo inappropriato, sono tra le principali cause di infortuni, dolori e di non avanzamento nella pratica individuale. Se eseguito correttamente, il piegamento all’indietro può apportare profondi benefici a livello fisico, mentale, emotivo ed energetico.
In questa sessione, studieremo nel profondo come sviluppare efficacemente e rafforzare la nostra colonna vertebrale.
* Intelligent Spine è una classe appropriata a tutti i livelli e altamente raccomandata.

Domenica 12 Maggio | ore 10-12.30 | 65eur
Beyond Balance: workshop di handstand: basandosi sui principi di Becoming Balance, Beyond Balance dà la possibilità di approfondire il proprio rapporto con l’equilibrio fisico studiando ed applicando verticali sulle braccia e varianti. Rama e Shakti sono conosciuti in tutto il mondo per il saper condividere la loro esperienza ed avanzata conoscenza nell’ambito dell’equilibrio sulle mani. Gli studenti approfondiranno gli elementi indispensabili alla padronanza fisica, per poter agevolmente mantenere la verticale in modo indipendente e giocare con le varianti più avanzate.
* Aperto a tutti ma e’ preferibile anche la partecipazione alla lezione di sabato mattina*

Chiavi per creare te stesso: la pratica della meditazione: pur essendo noto al mondo soprattutto attraverso le immagini di fantasiose e avanzate asana fisiche, e’ nella sessione dedicata alla meditazione che Rama condivide i suoi segreti personali per creare le condizioni ideali al raggiungimento dei propri obiettivi.
Durante questa sessione i partecipanti acquisiranno potenti strumenti utili sia nella vita quotidiana che nel avanzamento della propria pratica. Si consiglia di portare una coperta ed un cuscino da meditazione. (In alternativa potrà essere utilizzato un tappetino da yoga arrotolato).
* Non è necessaria alcuna precedente esperienza di meditazione.

Friday May 10th | 7.30-9pm | 40eur
Functional Vinyasa Master Class: Challenge your body and mind with 90 minutes of movement magic led by Sarah “Shakti Bird” Bonsall. Shakti is known for her upliftingly intense asana practices. Students will explore stimulating transitions, wholistic functional movement and one-on-one coaching by Rāma throughout the session.
* This master class is open to and accessible through all levels.

Saturday May 11th | 10-12.30pm | 65eur
Becoming Balance: level 1 inversion & arm balancing: Focusing on the fundamental components needed across a range of inversions and hand balances, Becoming Balance is designed to help you clean up your technique and gain access to deeper levels of physicality. Students will explore a mix of asana and exercises including mayurasana, classic crow progressions, headstand, handstand and beyond.
* Appropriate for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

Saturday May 11th | 2.30-5pm | 65eur
Intelligent Spine: Back-bending Workshop: The practice of yoga asana is largely designed around fine-tuning the functionality of the human spine. Back-bends, if performed improperly, are among the leading cause of injuries and personal stagnation within the modern yoga community. However, if performed properly, back-bending can bring profound physical, mental, emotional and energetic benefits.
* In this session, we take a closer look at the effective development and manipulation of the human spine. Intelligent Spine is appropriate for all levels and very highly recommended. Notebooks welcome.

Sunday May 12th | 10-12.30pm | 65eur
Beyond Balance: handstand workshop: Building upon Becoming Balance principles, Beyond Balance takes a closer look at entries and variations of the straight handstand. Rāma & Shakti are known around the world for their impactful ability to share their insights into the world of hand balancing. Students will deepen their understanding of physical mastery and leave feeling comfortable with holding, or working towards the sought-after freestanding handstand.
*Open to All – however it is preferable taking part in the saturday morning session too if you are going to attend*

Sunday May 12th | 2.30-5pm | 40eur
Keys to Creating Yourself: the practice of meditation: Fanciful physical expressions gave him international recognition, but it is in this session that Rāma shares his personal secrets to creating ideal conditions.
Part talk, part practical, during this session participants will gain powerful tools which they can then choose to use in the creation of optimal external conditions. It is recommended to bring a meditation shawl and cushion if you have your own (if not a rolled yoga mat will do).
* No prior meditation experience necessary.

About ctyoga

Christiane has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Her yogic journey began in 2000 as a student of Swami Nirmal (now at the Satyananda Centre in London) at the Fitness First gym in Kensal Rise, London. She experienced various teachers in different Fitness Firsts in Central London and around Clapham Junction before changing gyms and meeting Alexa Kho at LA FItness in Piccadilly Circus, London. Christiane attended Alexa's Anusara classes as well as her workshops. In January 2011 she enrolls in a 200hr Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training course with Rebecca Ffrench at YogaLondon. Vinyasa Flow is a modern form of yoga that comes from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and follows Sri K Pattabhi Jois. She quickly become passionate of this discipline and wants to deepen her knowledge; this brings her to meet and attend many workshops with Stewart Gilchrist, Shiva Rea, John Scott, Danny Paradise...all very famous teachers around the world. Being in the presence of such teachers is a significant experience for Christiane, in terms of her yogic journey, personal transformation and growth as well as understanding of yoga. After 11years in London, she moves to Milan to deepen and continue her journey. In Milan she teaches privately (1:1 and group classes) as well as in various yoga and dance centers. Milan is where her love for Ashtanga Vinyasa deepens and grows, bringing her to attend workshops with Lino Miele, Sharath Jois and most recently Kino MacGregor...all original students of Guruji, Sri K Pattabhi Jois. All of this culminates with a long awaited and long overdue trip to India, the birthplace of Yoga. Here Christiane deepens her practice and knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga by doing a 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa TTC with Yogi Kamal Singh at Tattvaa Yogashala in Rishikesh India. After the monthlong course, her travels take her around India practicing with various other world renown teachers, namely with Sri V. Sheshadri in Mysore and with Rolf and Marci Naujokat in Goa. In 2013 Christiane decides to embark on yet another yoga adventure, this time in Aerial Yoga! The course was divided into two weekends: level I in April and level II in June, after which she becomes a qualified Aerial Yoga teacher. Teacher and student of yoga, writer, adventurous soul, creative mind, curious world traveler & lover of the outdoors. Current HQ: Milan, Italy.
