Sono super contenta di annunciarvi l’arrivo di Talia Sutra a Milano il 13 e 14 Aprile!

Dalla sua infanzia, Talia si è dedicata al movimento, alla danza, allo yoga, alla meditazione e al veganismo, imparando abilità e tecnica impeccabili da maestri nel mondo del balletto e dell’arte.
Talia ha studiato e praticato molte forme di yoga tra cui Bikram, Dharma, Ashtanga e varie forme di Vinyasa.

Ha accumulato anni di esperienza integrando in maniera unica vinyasa fluidi e creativi con l’intensità statica dell’hatha yoga, nel silenzio intenso e concentrato. Le sue lezioni ispirano gioia, allineamento, respiro e concentrazione. Offre una profonda comprensione delle asana tradizionali e si specializza sia nella teoria che nella pratica delle posizioni di backbending, per le quali ha creato un suo metodo specifico.
Crede che la pratica dello yoga sia una finestra per l’autorealizzazione: possiamo trovare la sensibilità, l’intuizione e l’ispirazione attraverso la connessione con il mondo apparentemente ordinario che ci circonda e nessun insegnante è più grande di quello interiore.

Il METODO: L’inarcamento

Unisciti a Talia Sutra in questo workshop di 3 ore progettato per trasformare la tua consapevolezza, comprensione, tecnica ed esecuzione degli inarcamenti… e non solo!
La nostra colonna vertebrale, come un albero di nervi, collega la mente al corpo e trasporta più energia di quanto possiamo immaginare attraverso il suo centro.
In questa classe, verrai introdotto al metodo di backbending in tre fasi di Talia che ha aiutato migliaia di persone in tutto il mondo.
Attraverso istruzioni chiare, otterrai strumenti di trasformazione per rafforzare, allungare e guarire l’intera colonna vertebrale mentre scoprirai la quiete e la gioia delle asana.
Adatto a tutti i livelli di pratica.

Workshop 2 | Domenica 14 aprile | ore 13-16 – € 65

Il METODO: La flessibilità

La vera flessibilità fisica è un’estensione di uno stato d’essere flessibile: uno stato di resa consapevole.
In questa classe di 3 ore, verrai introdotto nel metodo di flessibilità in tre fasi di Talia e imparerai a riconoscere e forse anche a lasciar andare l’identificazione testarda con la resistenza.
Usando le asana come un portale al nostro mondo interiore, scoprirai la tua naturale presenza nello spazio un respiro alla volta.
Questo stato di flessibilità è naturale e tutti hanno accesso ad esso. Il metodo ti fornirà un modo semplice e reale per avvicinarti a questa pratica in modo tale che, fisicamente, mentalmente ed emotivamente, sarai in grado di navigare con più grazia in te stesso e nel mondo che ti circonda.

Talia Sutra – world renown teacher for the first time ever in Italy!

Talia has been practicing movement, dance, yoga, meditation and veganism since childhood.
She sees nothing as external to her studies and has learned impeccable skill and technique from masters in the world of ballet and art alike.
Talia has studied and practiced many forms of yoga including Bikram, Dharma, Ashtanga and various forms of vinyasa.

She has combined years of experience into her own unique blend of seamless, creative vinyasas and intense, focused hatha stillness. Her classes inspire joy, alignment, breath and focus. She offers a deep understanding of traditional asanas and specializes in both the theory and practice of backbending postures, for which she has created a method.
She believes that yoga practice is a window to self realization. Equally, she finds sensitivity, intuition and insight are to be found through connection with the seemingly ordinary world around us and that no teacher is greater than the one within.

Workshop 1 | Saturday April 13th | 1-4pm – 65eur

The METHOD: Backbending
Join Talia Sutra in this 3 hour workshop designed to transform your awareness, understanding, technique and execution of your backbending asanas…and beyond.
Our spine, like a tree of nerves, connects mind to body and transports more energy than we can ever imagine through its center.
In this class, you will be introduced to Talia’s three step Backbending Method which has helped thousands worldwide.
Through crystal clear instruction, you will gain transformative tools to strengthen, lengthen and heal the entire spine while unveiling the stillness and joy of yoga asana.
Suitable for all levels of practitioners.

Workshop 2 | Sunday April 14th | 1-4pm – 65eur

The METHOD: Flexibility
True physical flexibility is an extension of a flexible state of being: a state of conscious surrender.
In this 3 hour class, you will be introduced to Talia’s three step flexibility method and learn to recognize and maybe even let go of the stubborn identification with resistance.
Using asana as as a portal to inner space, we will unveil our own natural spacious presence one breath at a time.
This state of flexibility is natural and everyone has access to it. The method just gives us a simple, true way to approach this lifetime practice so that physically, mentally, emotionally and beyond we are able to navigate more gracefully through ourselves and the world around us.

Christiane has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Her yogic journey began in 2000 as a student of Swami Nirmal (now at the Satyananda Centre in London) at the Fitness First gym in Kensal Rise, London. She experienced various teachers in different Fitness Firsts in Central London and around Clapham Junction before changing gyms and meeting Alexa Kho at LA FItness in Piccadilly Circus, London. Christiane attended Alexa's Anusara classes as well as her workshops. In January 2011 she enrolls in a 200hr Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training course with Rebecca Ffrench at YogaLondon. Vinyasa Flow is a modern form of yoga that comes from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and follows Sri K Pattabhi Jois. She quickly become passionate of this discipline and wants to deepen her knowledge; this brings her to meet and attend many workshops with Stewart Gilchrist, Shiva Rea, John Scott, Danny Paradise...all very famous teachers around the world. Being in the presence of such teachers is a significant experience for Christiane, in terms of her yogic journey, personal transformation and growth as well as understanding of yoga. After 11years in London, she moves to Milan to deepen and continue her journey. In Milan she teaches privately (1:1 and group classes) as well as in various yoga and dance centers. Milan is where her love for Ashtanga Vinyasa deepens and grows, bringing her to attend workshops with Lino Miele, Sharath Jois and most recently Kino MacGregor...all original students of Guruji, Sri K Pattabhi Jois. All of this culminates with a long awaited and long overdue trip to India, the birthplace of Yoga. Here Christiane deepens her practice and knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga by doing a 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa TTC with Yogi Kamal Singh at Tattvaa Yogashala in Rishikesh India. After the monthlong course, her travels take her around India practicing with various other world renown teachers, namely with Sri V. Sheshadri in Mysore and with Rolf and Marci Naujokat in Goa. In 2013 Christiane decides to embark on yet another yoga adventure, this time in Aerial Yoga! The course was divided into two weekends: level I in April and level II in June, after which she becomes a qualified Aerial Yoga teacher. Teacher and student of yoga, writer, adventurous soul, creative mind, curious world traveler & lover of the outdoors. Current HQ: Milan, Italy.
