September 9 – 21 2011 saw Milano set the scene for the smart urban stage.

The aim is to connect with creative heads and smart fans from around the world and to invite you/us to their smart urban stage.

This is a global online project dealing with the future of the city….they question the urban status quo…the results are visions, ideas and solutions for a sustainable lifestyles, modern social systems and forward-looking developments in the fields of architecture, design and technology.

This worldwide event series called ‘smart urban stage’ is a platform to exhibit ideas and solution of forward thinking future makers.

The brand behind this project is the car manufacturer, smart.

The opening party took place Friday 09.09.11 which ctyoga attended!

And on the sunday 11.09.11, a day called COME SUNDAY hosted by Music Priority, who looked after all of the visuals and music – both indoors and outdoors…thanks to them ctyoga was present interweaving yoga into the mix as a means of bringing people together and uniting them via yoga & music….yoga was performed in an urban setting, accompanied by great ambient *chillout *dub *electro *tech-house music….this was a great opportunity for ctyoga and indeed an amazing event NOT TO BE MISSED!

In una società che tende ciecamente alla frenesia e alla velocità a tutti i costi, cerchiamo invece di rallentare, di soffermarci sul significato. Il futuro della città.

Una possibilità di evoluzione per un migliore sviluppo dei rapporti sociali, interpersonali. L’importanza di godersi il proprio tempo libero per la voglia di stare insieme, condividere interessi e passioni comuni pubblicamente attraverso la Musica.

La Musica intesa anche come momento ludico per favorire l’esplorazione, la ricerca, le relazioni. Uno strumento insostituibile di socializzazione, di comunicazione e di crescita, dove sperimentare accoglienza e affettività, tecniche e movimenti, linguaggi e modalità espressive. Un modo per “staccare la spina”, liberare la mente, alleggerire lo spirito dallo stress accumulato durante la settimana. L’utilizzo della Musica come possibilità di impiegare il “tempo libero in città” fornisce lo stimolo all’aggregazione, un’occasione preziosa di “contatto” come “necessità primaria”.

La Domenica come giorno di riposo per l’essere umano, una pausa, distensione dei sensi, momento per le relazioni sociali di intimo svago e spontanea ritualità.

…the event on sunday :: COME SUNDAY :: was a great success…there was tea, fruit, massages were given, yoga was taught, and the sun decided to come out and join us!
